Watch Repairs Performed On-Site
For most owners of vintage, collectible timepieces, a true measure of value for the watch they possess goes well beyond its
insurance appraisal or monetary worth. The pride of ownership associated with a fine, jewelry quality mechanical watch — be it a
family heirloom or a recent acquisition — often involves sentimental values which render the piece priceless. How much is the
Rolex or Breitling worth that has passed from one generation to the next. Or the vintage Longines bequeathed from a beloved grandmother?
Mike Creasey, proprietor of Time-MD, LLC, recognizes the inherent value of these exceptional watches, and treats each
with the expert care that it deserves. He performs restoration services himself, in his own office, with the tools and expertise he has
acquired over long years dedicated to mastering his trade. Customers of Time-MD can rest assured that their valuable watch will not be sent
off to some un-known destination. It will be in the caring hands of an experienced professional.
Services Include:
Complete Service/Overhaul
- Complete disassembly of the movement
- Four step ultrasonic cleaning
- Repair or replacement of damaged parts
- Precision re-assembly and oiling of the mechanism
- Gasket replacement
- Polish/refinishing (excludes plated models)
- Water testing, if applicable
Vintage Repairs/Restoration Work
We at Time-MD, LLC provide a service to keep those timepieces running so they can be enjoyed for years to come,
using genuine parts when available.
Batteries and Water Testing
- All watch cases marked water resistant are tested for moisture resistance at a minimum.
- Vacuum and pressure test using a dry tester.
- Deep sea pressure tests to manufacturer’s suggested specification.
- Cases failing a water test will be estimated to restore water resistance.
Estimates
All work is done on a per job estimate basis. Estimates on proceeded work are completed at no charge. A $50.00 fee will be assessed (plus postage if required) on all work not proceeded.
Warranties
Omega watches that have had a complete service at my shop (movement and casing maintenance), shall be covered by a two year (24 month) warranty. All other complete services will be a one year (12 month) warranty. Warranties cover parts installed and labor but not accidental damage or abuse.
Credit Card Transactions
A three (3) percent convenience fee will be added to all credit card transactions.
